April 21, 2009 Yes, We Must! The financial system has been hit hard. The adverse effects on our credit unions and members are plain to see and growing clearer by the day. But CDCUs were built for tough times. Now, as the credit union movement faces unprecedented challenges, we would like to invite you to explore the historic opportunities of this moment. Yes, We Must is the theme for the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions 35th Annual Conference on Serving the Underserved, to be held in Phoenix, Arizona, June 10 – 13, 2009. This timely conference will provide a rare opportunity to learn about effective strategies for today and contribute to the credit union vision for the sustainable financial system of tomorrow – a system that puts people before profit.
