During a short discussion at the end of the Native convening last week, we received suggestions on new content for Our Native Circle. We wanted to share this list here and ask you to keep sending ideas and materials to improve this site.
- Documents/boilerplates to add:
- Example business plan
- Example CDFI Fund application (actually awarded)
- Example full credit/lending package: denial letters, approval letters, memos, etc.
- Example forms: enrollment, applications, spreadsheets, operational guidelines, etc.
- Example board of directors' self evaluation - set of questions
- Marketing "kit" - example docs and strategies
- Consulting corner - recommended or 'approved' Native CDFI consultants
- Link of the week on home page with email notification
- Example press release(s)
These were all great ideas and we welcome more - please add a comment below or send us your ideas via email. Thanks to all the contributed during the discussion and check back for more discussion on the plans for 2008 Native Convening and ideas we have already received.
